Good, bad and ugly. Post game reactions vs Dolphins
Now that the anger is gone, we have definitely upgraded in the trenches, which has been neglected by this team for as long as i can remember. Reed must stay healthy. Garcon seems to be back to the 2013 version. Our secondary is better, but still needs help. Our run game is spot on. KC is serviceable at least and good at best - lets see how he grows up this year (or if he grows up). D-Jax durability is now a really big concern. Gruden did nothing to win me over this week. Last year he seemed to abandoned the run game every week, and now he seems to not no when to go to the air. He , like KC, needs to grow into his shoes. Although I have a bad feeling about him doing so where as KC i believe will. We need a pass rusher desperately- Galette injury was brutal.
Needs rite now - pass rusher, cb, maybe one more solid piece to the oline, deep threat, kicker, and probably another decent tight end. But all in all my opinion of the direction of this team has changed and I believe that next year we will be a force. This year if Gruden can get a handle on things and we avoid key injuries I think we can actually be a playoff team. Next week already seems like a must win. Edit : anyone who questions weather SM is going to be around for long should be banned for one week minimum. Lol. He is building from the inside out which is what you need to do. No more icing first cake second. Build a strong foundation in the trenches and than we can decorate later. We are only a few pieces away rite now. Again our HC is the big question mark imo. |

Also tired of Roberts and him dropping passes. I'm so done with that dude. Garcon, Crowder, Grant and Ross need to be out there as much as possible. |

Totally agree about Jackson not being ready for the season, but does Ross have the type of speed Jackson does?? |

I see it a little differently. He could've sat out a week to wait until he was ready or played soft this week but he gave it all he had on that route. He's not as durable as I would've hoped but when he plays he plays. To me, I see him as Santana Moss. #1 receiver today but 2 years from now, I see him in the slot. I think Jay and Scot are going to want some bigger, more physical guys at #1 and #2 anyway.

He's got the deep speed and I think he's ready to get his shot. Not sure if he has Jackson's skill set, we'll see. But Jackson is just too much of a pain in the ass at this point. And we may need to draft a guy next year, but I'd like to see them move forward with the younger group and not Jackson and Roberts.

Re: Good, bad and ugly. Post game reactions vs Dolphins
I liked seeing improvement in a lot of areas such as the offensive line, running attack, and the front seven. It was also nice seeing a lot of the young players (Scherff, Moses, Crowder) out there.
The biggest issue that I have with the team is their inability to score early in the game. The Redskins dominated just about every stat in the first half, except in points. They also squandered the opportunities to put up points after the defense caused a turnover. When you miss scoring opportunities early in the game, you set yourself up for failure later on. If we had scored 17 or 21 points by half, it would have been a different game in the second half. And this is a problem the team has been having for a long time.

The #Redskins announce that CB Chris Culliver is suspended 1 game for a violation of @NFL personal conduct policy.

Ugh. So Suh can kick Alfred in the head and poke Moses in the eye and nothing happens. What did Culliver do?

Re: Good, bad and ugly. Post game reactions vs Dolphins
I expected Scherff to do well, but goddamn Moses REALLY looked outstanding out there. That was such a bullshit penalty for driving his guy into the sideline. Feels nice to have someone "develop" and turn into something solid. Feel like we let way too many guys like that go. I hate a loss but I saw some true signs of potential.
I would have been happier if previously shitty teams like the Rams/Titans/etc. had lost. Makes me wonder how far we have to go.
