If Cravens was dealing with post concussion syndrome. I would give him a pass and accept him back to the team. For any other reason I would be less willing to forgive him for just leaving the team hanging. I would always encourage all players to put their health and safety first. For that reason and that reason alone I would welcome him back.

Har-Dee-Har-Har! Even Cleveland isn't that stupid. The Skins will cut him in a New York minute - as they should.

Re: Sua Cravens

I'm hoping that the team has a good pulse on him. If they think he's got his shit figured out, it'd be nice to have some more young talent in the secondary with Fuller gone.

I think it's probably time to go their separate ways, but what realistically will a team trade for him? I guess you'd have to take whatever you can get for him, (a 6th or 7th?) Because cutting him you take a bit of a hit.

It might be worth it though if you can't get anything to give him a shot to prove himself again rather than take the cap hit, unless the dude comes back to camp and is a huge problem in the locker room, but then you can still cut ties, take the hit, and let a younger guy get more experience.

Re: Sua Cravens

Agree with most of you, get what you can get for him and get out of the Cravens business.

I remember reading when he was rehabbing the biceps injury, he missed some treatment and was playing ping pong in the club house. The story hinted that it didn't sit well with his team mates that he wasn't trying his best to get back on the field.

I couldn't find a link after a cursory search. Help me out with one if you can.

Agreed. Let him go through the off-season program and see what he's got. Can't hurt.

Re: Sua Cravens

If a team offers a 6th round pick or higher, I'd trade him. If not, let him come to camp and see what he has. What a weird situation.

Did you just see the Colt’s fiasco with McDaniels?

Or Foster’s domestic violence situation in SF?

Or the Giants memorabilia lawsuit going to trial?

Dallas last season with Elliot?

Shit happens all over

Re: Sua Cravens

If I'm coach I'd put it to the captains + a committee of other highly regarded veterans. Would you welcome Su'a back? And don't tell me what you think I want to hear, just give it to me straight. You players are the ones that have to be able to trust him.

Depending on what they say, I'd take that back to the front office and tell them.

If the players are good with welcoming him back, then I'd welcome it. This is one of those times where I think the leadership in the locker room should decide.

This is exactly what they should do.
