I agree with the first line. We wouldn't be getting Jaylon Smith, pass rusher extraordinaire, we'd be getting Jaylon Smith - cut mid season because he looks embarrassingly terrible next to a quality linebacker.

Start Davis, Hudson, and Holcomb at LB and see how it works. Bump Holcomb off on nickel and replace him with another DB.

Yep, that is what they should do on Sunday, but it wouldn't hurt to bring in a Veteran like Williamson if Bostic is going to be out for the season.
My guess is it will be mostly Davis & Holcomb, with Hudson coming in on occasion. Who knows, maybe it's the recipe for success. |
