Last night I heard Rons presser and he said our offensive identify is running the ball and play action. My instant reaction was .. wtf, we dont call PA passes?!? We should, run game should be happily married to the PA. We called one Sunday night and it was flea flicker variety.

In the last 3 games, Brian Robinson has rushed for a combined 290 yards (9th in nfl) and averaged 5.69 yards per carry (10th). Has 1 carry for 2 yards in red zone (TD run nullified by the McLaurin penalty). Wash has thrown 13 RZ passes (+ 1 scramble) to 5 runs in this stretch.

Yep, this is example 1A of why Turner sucks. We are way better at running the ball than we are at passing. But he wants to pass the ball in the redzone, so that's what we do, even if it lowers our chances of scoring.

You have to scheme around your talent.

I wasn't a big fan of drafting BR in the 3rd but boy was I wrong on that one. I am still shocked that he was shot in the knee a few months ago and is now trucking NFL defenders. Crazy.

The players they are picking have been excellent, very pleasant surprises, they certainly have an eye for talent. Heard it reported somewhere that Mayhew wanted to draft Kenyon Green in the first over Dotson. Looking forward to what Mathis can bring next year

I have no idea how Green is doing, but that would have sucked. Dotson is going to be a bad ass here for at least 5 years. If we didn't re-sign Terry he would be my new favorite player. I don't know why, but I always gravitate towards receivers as my favorite players. With Trent Williams being an exception for a few years.

Green was the 1st round Guard that JA dominated against the Texans. Has not had a good rookie season. But neither do many others.
