WHEATONNNNNN!

The net effect of that extra WR and CB you pick up instead of trading up is not likely to exceed that of picking a game changer like Griffin. You would have to pick the next Andre Johnson and Darrell Revis to even start considering it an even trade off. It's quantity over quality. Also as I alluded to before Griffin is the very very very rare type of QB that can actually open running lanes for backs. To get the same effect of these running lanes you would have to add a pro bowl level tackle and guard.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
People want to talk about RG3s 'injuries in the making' but, no one is questioning Tannehill's foot. He's "a scrambler" too. You know?

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Personally RGIII kinda reminds me of JC. Yes RGIII's legs are better but my point is one of the knocks I had on JC is he would not go through all his reads if need be. He'd either try to run and get caught or throw it out of bounds and the latter was his norm at the end with us. RGIII's knock is he looks down his WR and rarely gets past the first read before he takes off running.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
I watched all of Baylor's games and didn't get that all. That's a terrible comparison.
