Re: Redskins vs. Lions Gameday Thread

How can a head coach doing a press conference after this loss spew the same bullshit over and over every week? He has no damn passion in his voice.

How can you guys deny Campbell played well? He did great, and he's playing solid all year, but when your Coach doesn't give you the chanced to make the plays, then waht the fck is he suppose to do?

I thought Campbell did a good job and do not put this on him at all.

Because Jason is supposed to know where the first down marker is and make adjustments. He is also supposed to know how to hold on to the ball and stop going from his first reciever right to his dump off or 5th reciever. He has had enough time to become a pro and he is never going to get there.

This one is not on JC. Our defense was absolutely horrible. They need to put Orakpo on the D-line because he is a liability in coverage. Officials completely sucked and I really think they wanted the Lions to win. Other than that I am completely and utterly disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we had someone to take Zorn's place on the staff he would be gone. Only way he keeps his job is if we make the playoffs which seems highly unlikely if we are going to play like this.

Yep, this was on the Defense. I would not hesitate to fire Blache right now. Buffalo and Tampa Bay fired their OC before their first game. Blache is way over rated.

Do you guys think that Zorn puts in passing plays that have only one route for one reciever. Open your eyes and watch the game, look at how many times there were wide open recievers waving there hands in the air as JC dumped it short all day. He can't see the field guys, he panics and dumps off to early bfore a full look. Agree about Orakpo though he needs to be coming off the side.

What the fck are you talking about?

THe WR's run the routes.. Campbell can only find the open WR can get him the ball.. It's not his fault the ran 1 yard short of the first down....

How do you know that Zorns offense doesn't coincide that the 2nd look is the checkdown? There are alot of palys were if your first look isn't there, then to check it down immediatly. He really didn't check the ball down alot this game anyhow imo..

I'm watching the Offense side of the ball again, and I'm already up to 11 passes thrown beyond 8 yards in the air..

You need to learn the game, and stop being a hater on Campbell just because you don't like him. He's playing great so far, and you're jsut a hater.

Great? I wouldn't go that far. When he has to move around in the pocket, like he did a lot today, he looks awful. And he still can't throw the fade with any accuracy (out of bounds in the end zone). And that shoulder twist thing he does to avoid pass rushers looks gay as shit and is ineffective. Don't get me wrong, they all shit the bed today. I don't lay this loss at Campbell's feet, but he's the QB, and he's more responsible than anyone else on the field.

Not htat I thought he played great... I still dont have a huge problem with Campbell. Our offensive line couldnt block a dummy bag.
