very good signing, he adds depth at cb if needed, and safety. versatile, experienced player

Re: Redskins Sign Vincent (MERGED)

Just think, back in 1992, Gibbs and Co. had the chance to pick Vincent in the draft. Instead, the Skins traded up for Desmond Howard. What a bad move! Maybe this will make things right in one small area.

Yuo must have been just a baby when Desmond Howard was drafted. The biggest problem with Desmond here was Monk, Clark and Sanders. No place for him to play.

yea i was a younging then, dont remember what year it was but, i grew up in a highly eccentric redskins family and remember LOTS of what was said of diff. things and when i got older i did some heavy research on old 'skins teams and ways. ive seen every superbowl, ( as we probably all have) and probably every game they've played since i was maybe 9 or 10. Except that fucking 49er's game last year where we finally got the go ahead to be a "good" team from sports analysts......

i still think Mr. Howard was a chump but again, just an opinion from a youngster.....he just didnt seem to live up to the hype he was afforded at that time....AGAIN, just an opinion....lol

You say you were a younging "then" you're still a younging. I was just wondering where you got your "first hand knowledge" but you say you remember what was said by someone else. I'll accept that.

TRUE, I AM A SCHIZOPHRENIC BASTARD....with the caps lock on...i think my "hating" was a cause of aggravation from losing to an 0-5 team and went from dislike to not giving a fuck...whatever these FAT paid coaches think will help, should at least be a decent idea, right? thats all im saying. im no fan of vincent's but...i agree that we need help..........

Re: Redskins Sign Vincent (MERGED)

instead of responding to 40 different posts, here's vincent:

he got placed on IR due to idiocy by the bills FO (i think it had something to do with him being the NFLPA union president). he's 35, and at vet min, he's an amazing value. he's not as fast as he once was, but he's an actual leader (which we don't really have in the locker room right now), and he knows what he's doing. he's not the answer by himself, but he may be better than archuleta or our other dbs, so i'm 100% behind this signing. he's WAY, WAY better than curry burns, and that's who's spot he's taking. big upgrade.

vincent DID play for jerry gray, who's been working with GW for an eternity now, so he shouldn't be completely lost.

marcus coleman would also be worth looking into, but he's not as good as troy.
