NOT happy. I hope they work the crap out of the team this week. I can understand the whole Heyer thing. He's a rookie. but they stuck others in who can't block for donkey doo. I'm glad Mason got a first down. sad to say I wish I couldn't see the game. Half way through the first quarter I turned down the T.V to hear some announcers who are not biased towards the Titans and found myself seeing the play almost 5 seconds before the announcers commented on it on the radio. Unfortunatly I turned the radio off and went back to the T.V. and now have decided to turn it off completely and go to bed. Shows you how good the game looks. If this is how our team is supposed to perform....better luck next year. or get rid of Saunders and bring back the Gibbs offense...atleast it made it to the playoffs. I can only hope that they were wanting to look at certain plays not used before to how they would look in a real game situation. Good night ladies and Gents good things are coming...we have a month.

Bottom line is this....
Brunell is worse than I thought and Collins is better.
Time to consider ditching Brunell altogether...
At most Brunell has a single year left...he should be 3rd string this year...too bad we didn't get a look at our rookie...I guess they already decided he is practice squad...

dont judge brunell and collins off of 1 preseason game. i dont feel comfortable with collins being the #2 guy this year regardless of this game

Perhaps, but, if Collins had the same reps and support as Brunell, he'd easily do as well as Brunell did tonight....

Maybe Brunell just had one of his sucky nights....unfortunately, that is the majority of them

YA know, Brunell was recruited before Saunder....which explains why Brunell is bette under a Gibbs system vs Saunders.

The deal is this is a Saunders offense now...so why hold on to 2 old farts?
All you have to do is manage the offense. You cant teach an old dog new tricks....these tricks are new to Brunell...
I love Brunells guts....but guts dont cut it week after week..
They do create miracles but thats it.

Why are we still talking about this. There is literally nothing we can do now. We kept Brunell for two reasons, he has a lot of experience and is a good mentor, and his cap numbers are huge. We are keeping Collins for a couple reasons too. He knows Saunders system, and he makes a great coach. He's also very cheap. Palmer is the only possible person to dethrone him, and he is too green to do it right now.
That all being said, again, we are stuck with what we have, so might as well get behind them.

Offense stinks. Only chance we have this year is if the D is solid and creates turnovers. They played good today, even the 2nd and 3rd stringers. Otherwise, winning 7 games this year will be a stretch.

Why is Fabini on the team? Cut his a$$ immediately. No excuse for Brunell not to get some points on the board today against a 3rd string defense.

Side note - you can see why Suisham never found a permanent home. What a strong leg, but the guy is not accurate.

Was Fabini playing RT or LT? when you say he stinks...what specifically is his issue, pass blocking?
