Personally that jumbo crap on the goaline with no timeouts was just terrible. I knew we were going to run the left side. Everyone knew we were going to that side and that's why we got stuffed. That was also on the coaches. Spiking the ball with 51 seconds on 1st down on the 2 yard line is simply unacceptable and it was piss poor coaching and that's on Joe Gibbs. This clock management bullshit has been going on for three years. Fix it or retire. You don't see teams with good offensive coaching going through stupid things like this. With as much $ as these guys make this should never ever happen and if I were Snyder I would be livid! |

And, more to the point, Eli was throwing a lot of junk Burress' way when he was covered reasonably well, and he was going up and getting those balls. Jason was not getting the same help from his receivers (again, ARE excepted).

Re: Great Playcalling, Joe
Or it is just that coaches are more comfortable with Brady going deep and making throws with a lead than we are with Campbell.

The intermediate passing game was underutilized, but its not like we have one. Opening drive of the second half we threw two straight passes to Moss in the intermediate zone and Campbell missed. Bad. |

Re: Great Playcalling, Joe
A tough game to watch at the end...Raubach had some penalties that could have cost them the game..watching the team rally together and get it down to the one and end up losing is a tough pill to swallow..I like our match-up against detroit though.. they have no running game and our secondary should hold them in check soon this loss will be behind us...
