I like to play armchair GM/Coach/QB no matter what. (I'm not talking like you directed this towards me, and I don't think you did, but I'm just saying) It's part of being a fan. I love football to death. I mean what else would we do... "We're awesome", and "We suck". Is about all that would come out.

I'm particularly vocal about yesterdays lost because I'm home sick. Like not home-sick, but home... ill. Yeah.

Nasty flu bug hit me, and I haven't been able to sleep, eat much, or ...uhh.. retain fluids very well. I'm debating missing my second day of work, not because I'm still violently ill, but because some people I've been hanging out with have contracted it from me. I guess I'll just go to work and tell them to make the call.

It also seems like some will drink the cool-aid regardless of what is going on.

I have been here with every win and every loss. I am actually more vocal with wins...but this loss stunk, and it was the coaching.

Not sure if you were referring to me or not, thought I'd mention that.

Re: f...gibbs

It's hard to defend Gibb's based on what he has accomplished in his second tenure....i agree....but that does not mean you can't keep the faith...I have never agreed with changing coaches BECAUSE CHANGE DOESNT WORK AND DANIEL SNYDER NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT. Improving your team helps...year to year.....(draft picks) but changing things...especiallly the coach just puts you back to where you started. We changed QB's from Brunell to JC, which I agreed with...but that means we are starting over again and it will take some time. The fans have been patient....and Dan Snyder is starting to show patience...and with this patience wins will come.

JC looked fine.....Gibbs will figure things out....and we will once again become a winning franchise. As long as Snyder doesn't interfere

BTW, I didn't mean to say that people shouldn't express their criticisms of the team and just cheer. In fact, this site would be quite boring without differing opinions about playcalls, play execution, etc. However, there is a world of a difference between airing legitimate concerns in an articulate fashion and just plain whining.

Re: f...gibbs

most people on the site have good input...which is saying a lot considering 5-11 last year and this LOSS

i think it's wrong to say f@@* joe gibbs regardless of circumstances.think what you will,be he deserves that much respect.he's forgotten more about life and football than most of us will ever know.chalk up the loss to inexperience to jason campbell rushing things at the end.i bet they'll be practicing that when they go back to practice next week!

Re: f...gibbs

go back and look,it took two years each for theismann, williams, and rypien to take the skins to the superbowl.i figure it may take campbell a little longer since he has to learn al saunders playbook.i love the skins, always will, but there is no way in hell that they are going to the superbowl this year as a contestant.they should make the playoffs however.

Re: f...gibbs

It may be useful to watch Gibbs press conference from today--he spoke a lot about the decision on the goal line, what was called, why it was called, etc. He also talks about the play calling in the 2nd half. Make you own decisions--some will find it re-assuring; others, no doubt, will think it's more of the same.

Hey, they had a bad day! Sometimes the offense doesn't click and the defense gets tired. Redskins are still #1.

Its only week 3 and the fairweather fans have surfaced. shame on you. for everyone saying this guy can't play and he sucks, remember Redskins tryouts are open to everyone. Hit the gym and get some cleats on your feet.
