Please, not in this lifetime!
Maybe he wanted out of Denver all along? This is his chance to get out and blame the Broncos in the process. Something don't smell right. However would take him over Campbell in a heartbeat.

There could be divorce proceedings in this mess...? Who knows how this thing will end. But it surely isn't a pretty picture now.

Cutler kind of has had a reputation for being a jerk in league circles long before all this started.

He's always seemed like a punk to me. Maybe now we know why Rivers hates him so much.

Well Rivers rep is not all that great either. A lot of QB's are cocky and diva like...these two guys have probably been told they were great since they were 8 years old. Of course they have big egos.

I'm not talking about ego, I'm talking about him being a jerk. There's a difference.

I have heard Rivers charicterized as a jerk more often then Cutler. And honestly I don't care...I think both are great. I am willing to accept some jerkiness or diva behavior if it comes along with a great QB. A jerk OL or a jerk WR...not so much but for a great QB I will put up with a little bit more.

I know Smootsmack said he was a jerk and maybe he has info I don't but the way he's acting now comes off more as a baby to me then a jerk. babies grow up but jerks never change.

Re: Seems like Cutler might be available.

We have our QB already. Jason Campbell is going to be our QB for the next 8-10 years. Why is everyone so willing to throw this guy away? Seriously, let's at least give him a second year in the same offense (for the first time...maybe EVER in his entire football career) before we dump him. Do you really want to trade for a biznitch like Cutler? Seriously, this kid has been crying for 3 weeks now about this trade that didn't happen. Too damn bad if your new coach was trying to get a guy he was already familiar with...the NFL is a business, it's not Romper Room. The first sign of adversity in his career (his battle with diabetes aside) and he's acting like a 5th grader. That's the difference between him and Campbell...Jason is unflappable. Watch his demeanor after a play...you can't tell whether he just threw a TD or a pick...he's cool and calm under pressure (very Montana-esque). Who do you want leading your team? A whiney ass kid or a tough nosed FOOTBALL player. I've got my moving buddy and it's Jason Campbell. Don't post any BS about Campbell's holding the ball too long either...it only seems that way because the O-line was terrible in the second half last year. When the line played well and sustained blocks (first 8 games) Jason won 6 of 8!! Who complained then? No one, we were praising him.

Please don't take this as an attack on anyone's post/opinion, I respect everyone on this site (we have very knowledgeable fans). I'm just trying to emphasize my support for Jason Campbell as our QB!! Mad man-love for the kid! LOL.

HAIL!!

Not interested - any guy this sensitive is a diva, the last thing we need at QB.

A talented young QB acting like a diva...amazing! Didn't John Elway act like a diva before he even got in the league? All Cutler wants is a head coach that is not pining for Cassel. I will take him on my team anyday.

It'll be a treat having both CP and JCutler sarcastically call Zorn a 'genius', saying '...can't throw on my behind', 'give me an elite line to...' etc. They'd make great homies...

Well personally I would like to send CP packing but his cap number sort of prevents that.

The more I hear about this story the more I agree wih you. Cutler seems like a spoiled baby. I just heard he's not even returning calls from the owner. That's just insane, If the guy that signs your check calls you, you pick up the damn phone.
