This would not surprise me. San Diego is missing McNeil, Jackson and Merriman.

You're kidding me right? I mean I'm not really much of an Atlanta fan but no way do the Steelers beat the Falcons minus Big Ben. I just can't see them beating them with a more seasoned Matt Ryan and a healthy Michael Turner.

I won't lie..this was a tough one to make.

But I think Dixon can do a lot with his mobility
They're at home
and the Steelers still play very well on D
The falcons are a turf team playing on grass

Won't be surprised if I'm wrong...but this was a decent upset pick imo...
Had it been at the falcons, then no way do I pick the Steelers here...

I expect the hits to take their toll on Favre over the course of the season; they can only dope that ankle up but so much. I think the Vikes will be good this year, but I think the absence of Chester Taylor could end up being their biggest lost of the year. He was really good coming out of the backfield last year and giving AP much needed breathers.

See those pics of Favre's ankle and thigh after the Championship game last year? My god looked like he was in a car wreck.

Yeah, saw them during the game last night. Can't blame him one bit for wanting to make sure his ankle was healed up before making a decision.

Dallas Cowboys offensive linemen Marc Colombo, Kyle Kosier out vs. Washington Redskins - ESPN Dallas

I knew about Columbo but Kosier is out as well

My father in law ( big cowpokes fan ) told me if we don't beat them without Kosier and Columbo, it will be a long season.. Man I hope we beat them tomorrow, oh and he also said Dallas is by far the better team lol.. We shall see in less than 24 hrs! HTTR

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)

I hope that we crush them, but if we do, Cowboys fans already have built in excuses. Meh. I can't stand 'em and am glad none are in my close or extended family. Arrogant bunch they are. (I haven't met many, but have never met any that weren't, even on their boards the most non arrogant ones still have a tinge of that arrogance. You would think they have won multiple superbowls this decade...

Re: NFL regular season thread (week 1)

Campbell 3/4 - 14 yards Raiders up over Titans.

Jay Cutler hasn't thrown an INT all year.
