Actually, a lot of people, including myself were impressed by Schaub in Atlanta.

I wouldn't mind seeing Orton come here...he made Brandon Lloyd look like Chris Carter! We don't need Holmes though...and you forgot Armstrong. We're plenty deep at WR right now, it's not a priority.

Ok guys ... just wanted to remind everyone that the last time there was a Lockout the Skins won the SB for that year..... It doesn't mean it's going to happen but hopefully history can repeat itself. Also remember the Skins beat 3 out of 4 teams that were in the playoffs. So can it be done? the Skins coming out this year and supprising everyone? yes. Likelyhood? I don't know they do seem to have a long way to go to right this ship especially on defense but "any given team on any given Sun." right.

It's gonna be nuts. Schefter just broke it down- each team has an average of about 40 players currently under contract. Teams come to camp with 90 players. That's 50 unsigned players per team right now, times 32 teams....

That's about 1600 contract moves this week. Wow. This is going to be a lot of fun.

That said, he is a winner at home games. We could use that in primetime games.

did anyone else read john claytons list of the top 10 ufa's, and the favorites and darkhorse team list? I think we were listed on over half of the flipping list as the fav or darkhorse...........I guess noone took notice that last year we strayed from the tendencies of the previous regimes. Oh well.....

The only QB's that can come here are either Matt Leinart to compete for a starting job (because he knows the system), Vince Young to sit and learn, or an UDFA to fill in a roster spot.

Bad Fit: Washington Redskins
The Redskins need more firepower in the passing game, but the presence of a starter (John Beck) with a popgun arm makes the situation a poor fit for Rice. Beck lacks the arm strength to throw the ball down the field and that would limit Rice’s effectiveness. The money the Redskins can throw at Rice will certainly be enticing, but he would underachieve in Washington due to the quarterback situation.
