LC wasn't a bust.
I wouldn't call Bruce Smith a bust either. He was productive in 2000, we just held on to him for too long to let him get his sack record. 29 sacks in 4 seasons, meh, but far from a bust. |

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.
AH was worth at least another low round pick. I am glad we dumped him for something, but still. How many picks do the Pats have next year? Do they have the standard 11 that has been the norm the past few seasons? I am not upset, but I think we could have sqeeked another low round pick out of the deal. AH will help them out a lot on their D line.

The only guy out of that bunch that was truly a bust was Andre Reed. Only one TD reception, and that was at the end of 2000 I think if I am not mistaken. Deion comes in at second. |

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.
And Brunell did at least get us to the playoffs in 2005, so not a bust.

Cofield > Kemo/ Stainsworthless Bowen > Daniels or Carriker J. Jenkins > Jarmon Seems to me that they've done nothing but improve, yet you are up here slamming them? I hate this Madden generation of fans who swear they are better GMs/Scouts/HCs than the ones who've done this for 20+ years. Fans lately have be annoying the **** out of me since FA started. Again, I see why Dan Snyder is the way he is. He's just like a great deal of fans I see across different forums. SIGN NNAMDI!! SIGN HOLMES! SIGN EDWARDS!! SIGN JENKINS!! One after another, they want all the big ticket items just like our moronic owner Dan Snyder did. The way I look at it, lets review some stupid moves so far this FA: Panthers: Over paid big time to keep Williams/Johnson Jets: Over paid big time to keep Holmes and probably will overpay for Nnamdi as well. Arizona: Gave up a good CB and 2nd rounder as well as a 63 million contract for a unproven guy. All bone headed moves that could have been made by us, but our GMs are a bit smarter it would seem. |

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.
Well, it goes back to what you consider a bust.
To me a bust is a guy that straight up can't play. Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell types. Brunell was disappointing for the most part here, but he did put together a pretty decent 2005 season. I think the word bust gets tossed around a little too liberally. |

Found a picture of Haynesworth reporting to Foxboro to join his new team.

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.
brunell was only good for 2-4 games a season... the problem was asking him to play more. man that was some ugly football.
