I'm starting to lean towards believing that Cleveland isn't really going to be a player for RGIII. I doubt they will give up both first round picks this year to move 2 spots (everyone keeps pointing out their ammo) and their needs at RB and WR outweigh their QB needs. They can fill both needs with their picks and get Richardson and Floyd (for example) and see what McCoy does with talent around them. They may be the only team in the league with worse skill position players than we do. Even if they go the QB route, wouldn't you think that Holmgren would rather follow a path he's had success with, former Green Bay QB (tutored Brunell, acquired Hasselbeck) than draft a rookie? That's got to be the #1 landing spot for Flynn. It's crazy but based on FA, we may not need to move but one spot to get RGIII.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
The speculation is that if Fisher gets the job he may want to bring in a vet like Orton and use Bradford to get more picks. It may not be likely to happen but who knows. Stranger stuff has happened.

If Fisher comes in, hes bringing the WCO with him and keeping Bradford. Everyone in St Louis knows the digression with Bradford was because of McDainel’s offense and the loss of Shurmur (who imo is a great coach).

I can't see St Louis trading Bradford either for an unknown. I think they'll wind up trading the pick too. They could be the big winners on draft day if they do.

The ideal trade for St. Louis, IMO, would be with Cleveland. I think the best picks for St. Louis would be either Kalil, to help keep Bradford upright, or Blackmon who would be a great playmaker to pair with Bradford. Drafting 4th, St. Louis would be sure to get one of those players. The only reason I can see for both of those teams to want to make that trade is that Cleveland wants RGIII. If that is the case, then St. Louis should be able to demand, and get, both of Cleveland's first round picks this year and possibly more if other teams get into the bidding for RGIII. |

My own gut feeling is Fisher isn't going to the Rams.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Who do you think goes to the Rams? My gut tells me Fisher ends up in either Miami or Tampa. I think Tampa's more attractive from a coaching standpoint because of Josh Freeman and solid young core of RBs and WRs.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Marty Mornhinweg? You mean defer to the opponent when you win the coin toss in overtime Marty Mornhinweg? Yikes. You'd think if nothing else, Sam Bradford makes that job attractive enough to lure a better candidate than him.

Fisher to the Dolphins, Mularkey to the Jags, Crennel to the Chiefs and in a stunner, Billick to the Rams.
