As for Paul and the TE position, from what you saw was he doing more end of the line stuff or H-back motion?

If you get John Keim's weekly e-mail, he did an interview with Matt Bowen who talked about the TE position and made a comparison with New England's tight ends. Gronk plays with his hand on the ground, on the end of the line while Hernandez is more of the motion, H-Back variety. Paul is going to be a liability blocking, simply because of his size if he's on the line with his hand down, but he could be effective if he can chip or get a running start from being in motion as a blocker.

It's OTA's. No one has on pads and no one is hitting. You can't judge much off these practices. Let me see Cooey when the pads are on and in a pre season game. Then we'll truly see if he's healthy and can still get open. If he can't then it's time to move on. If he can then we need to keep him.

Preseason? I doubt he makes it that far.

It appears everybody has a grove going on so far in OTAs. I can't believe that training camp is just eight weeks away.

I think the question of Cooley sticks around or not, is part due to how is health is and how he looks, but just importantly how Paul looks. If he quickly pans out ang gets adjusted like Shanahan thinks and Cooley isnt on his game, then its bye bye Cooley imo.

Haha, I just really liked the shot to be honest.

As far as Paul, he was on the line most of the time. He did motion, but to the slot, never the H-Back spot.

Perhaps Brandon Banks looks up to Griffin - Both physically and metaphorically.

Yeah, if they can lime up a better offense and RGIII doesn't turn out to be a lemon we could be in for a peach of a season.

You have to remember one thing. For whatever reason FDavis has risen to cult status among some fans. Last year he had his best yr of his career, but I didn't see him doing any better or worse then Cooley has done when healthy. So now that I've opened that can of worms lets takle it..... yes Cooley has been injured recently and I've wondered what could be the problem.... maybe he's just getting old, which I doubt thats a serious problem, or could it be something else. I think we shall see this year since it sounds like he had gained a lot of weight and has lost it for this coming year. That alone will wear on the knees.

But the problem with FDavis is he also seems to drop the ball, or fumble more then Cooley also. Not a good trait to have.

Blocking? Everyone seems to forget about Paulsen who was brought in for .... wait for it... yes his blocking ability. Paulsen filled in nicely and did an excellent job. Paul knows how to block which is a good thing, but he is listed as 6ft-1in, 224lbs on Redskins.com which is only about 25lbs lighter then Cooley or Davis. If he's gained close to 25lbs of muscle then Paul will be fine as a TE.

I still don't understand the cult status FDavis has gotten since he has yet to make it to a Pro Bowl even though fans seem to think he's going there every year.
