Re: Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers Pre-Game Thread

This guy is going to eat his words:

By Michael Fabiano

Eddie Lacy vs. Washington Redskins: Despite facing the Niners and losing a fumble, Lacy still scored 11.20 fantasy points in his NFL debut. This week he'll face a much less formidable run defense, as the Redskins allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs in Week 1. Lacy makes for an attractive flex starter with upside in this NFC contest. (Maximum value: Mid-RB2)

Redskins 31
Packers 24

Griffin to Hank from 54 with 2:43 left for the win.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

I don't know gents. Part of me thinks that the momentum from the second half of week one will continue for Washington.

But, I can't overlook the fact that The Packers are 26-2 in Lambeau since 2009. Mostly, though, Green Bay has not lost consecutive games since 2010. And those two points put the Skins in a difficult spot.

I think the Packers win and cover the spread of 7.

If you look at the inactives from last week, the out guy pretty much has to be either Rex or Royster. Rex won't go thru waivers, another team could conceivably claim White.

I see us the the underdog tomorrow. A win will be a huge boost to the team and it's definitely possible, but we have be sharp and that's what worries me.

I hear you Guy.
"Why keep Rex? And why SHanny confuses the F' out of me to consider his experiment to keep 4 Qb's to pave the way for White to be back up b/c we all think Kirk is getting shopped next offseason." By GreenMonk

It wasn't too long ago that Rob got hurt. Kirk came in, finished that game with a win, and won the next week. Instead of utilizing Rex in his backup role, we rushed Rob back to play and didn't trust Kirk to get to the playoffs which could have given Rob time to nearly heal entirely. If Rex was competent enough to run the O, then why was a 1 legged Rob still more effective? Rex was around for what reason ? If Rob and Kirk go down, then with Rex the season is over and done. we know this and have seen this. This season Shanny keeps 4 QB's....why?! What point is having Rex any less horrible cutting him and if Rob and Kirk to get injured, bring in a guy like VYoung to accomplish the same mediocre below par ability to lose for us? Remember if Rob AND Kirk go down, the season is completely over.
He's a waste of roster spot. I would rather have an extra Kicker who can boot it out thru the endzone on kickoffs like every other kicker in the league can except our Kai (sorry Kai but what seems like <60% or so of KO's get returned is not good)

To further my point on wasted QB spots, how much good did it do for us using White to simulate VIck?
Rex knows how to execute the playbook like Stephen hawking knows how to do jumping jacks.

In an ideal world, some team reaches out and trades for Kirk but apparently that will never happen b/c they have to wait for their newly drafted QB's to fail or are willing to ride it out and wait for a bargain like the Raiders may be doing with PRyor . Shanny would rather horde Rex than ever put him in a meaningful game again. I just don't understand hording.
Anything is possible with this man, I just thought hoped that Rob would never get hurt again, Kirk traded for 8 1st picks, and Rex would go back to wherever we are keeping him from retiring to...High school Coach, ugly man contest, voice over actor, idk.
