Re: Week 17

Pats have the easiest schedule in the playoffs, they'll play either KC or Houston.

Only if the Bengals win and I still don't know if Dalton is playing. He still has the cast on until tomorrow and usually it is 2-3 weeks rehab after that. Not saying they would wait that long this time, but usually that is the case.

Plus I wouldn't count on Pittsburg being as easy out.

I meant easiest schedule in the second round. I don't think Cincy beats Pittsburgh. If I'm Denver, I'd rather play KC or Houston, as opposed to Pittsburgh.

Re: Week 17

I hope we beat the packers so these announcers have to at least acknowledge the Skins season.

Re: Week 17

Odd I thought they usually did 1 AFC and 1 NFC game each day. I guess they base the slots on likely ratings.

I thought it was odd too. Plus surprised Seattle , a west coast team, plays at 1.

Re: Week 17

I have watched NFL network for the last hour and they have done zero commentary on the Skins. I am not sure they even mentioned the Skins, even I figure they must have.

Re: Week 17

Green Bay's offense right now is about 25% Lacy and 75% improvisation by Aaron Rodgers when he is flushed out of the pocket. That WR core is pretty uninspiring and they never seem to get open unless Rodgers is buying time running around. Most of the big plays made were when Rodgers was outside the pocket. Very similar to what you see with Russell Wilson.

Even with out banged up secondary I think the defense has enough to contain that offense.

As far as Green Bay's defense goes? I think we have enough weapons to put points on them.

The biggest key is to be up by more than 7 as the 4th quarter is winding down so you remove the "Rodgers magic" element from the game. I expect he will make a few of those plays throughout the course of 4 quarters, but the key is not to lose the game on one of those kinds of plays.
