Have special teams ever been more of a Dumpster Fire?

Vernon Davis...sometimes I feel like he is playing for the other team...kinda like a spy. Makes terrible play after terrible play.

Josh Doctson...why did we draft him?

Great job defense I guess. You got an assist by Blaine gabbert who is terrible

VD has done nothing with his opportunity to be the man at TE. That is why we need to roll the dice with Reed. VD is clearly a complimentary TE only.

Or, be bold, cut both of them, make Sprinkle #1, bring back Paulsen, and keep Paul.

Just kidding, to me Reed was always coming back, because of the dead space issue and the fact we have no replacement, and we have so many other holes, we can't pick another TE after picking Sprinkle.

Were bringing him back and dreaming for double digit games. I don't care about 16, because it won't happen, I'll take 10.

Davis is our only deep threat. He is the first guy teams are game planning for.
It’s hard for me to criticize him since he is our only speed guy which is a shame.

Davis has been great for us. He's a perfect # 2 TE. He's done as much as we could of possibly hoped for. Him and Reed is a deadly combo, unfortunately Reed just never plays.

Fumbles, drop passes, penalties and he almost get cousins killed today when he whiffed on a pass block.

Nobody should want VD.

It was nice when he was pulling in surprised wide-open 30 yarders every game, ever since he stopped doing that it's a whole lot of nothing. Too many fumbles, poor blocks, and dropped passes. Idc if Skins seek an upgrade next year.

Also not sure if Sprinkle is ready for part-time backup duty behind Reed, he's not much of a pass blocker either. He looks hella skinny for the position took, dude needs to put on some weight and improve his entire game. Reed's backup is always gonna get serious minutes every year.

S/N jamf, what does it say about our team if our mid 30's backup TE is our only speed guy. It says to me that Doctson needs to step up. He's on his way to earning Rod Gardner's nickname if he keeps letting passes sail through his hands.

Hard to argue with this but why is he blocking on elite defensive end without help?
He's not a blocking TE, I'm not going to blame him for that but his fumbles kill us.

Davis blocks worse than Reed. He doesn't even try to block someone. I don't understand why these TE's are so shitty at blocking. Part of it is heart. You have to actually want to knock someone off the ball. Our guys just want to catch passes.

We'll never run the ball w/ Reed and Davis as our TE's.

Agree 100. Idk why they keep calling their number. In the film break downs the line is usually average to above average in run blocking and the tight ends consistently have terrible grades.

Fix it or don't and call different plays.

Can Arizona stop pretending now that Gabbert is auditioning to be their starter next year? He’s awful.
