Plus his wife who wears the pants in the family, is from Brazil where the coldest winter day is 60F. After living in MD for 30 years, I lived in Boston for four years and after the third winter I had to get out. I love snow and winter, but it is really rainy, windy and cold. Not a great combination. In the winter the sunrise is 7:13am and set at 4:20pm. I used to work 7am - 4pm. It was dark when I went in to work and dark when I went home. Kind of depressing. I love Boston to visit but not to live. |

I would tend to agree, pretty sure as it always has been money isn't a priority for Brady. Doesn't his wife make $50 mil a year or used to?

I don't understand this argument about Brady having to stay in NE. He reworked his contract with the intention of leaving the Pats. While risky, Brady in San Francisco would automatically improve their QB situation. And right now the 49ers probably have a better team on paper than New England The Chargers are a pretty loaded team (Kennan Allen, Hunter Henry, and the Gordon/Ekeler RB duo), and Brady could make them a contender. The Raiders have the resources to put a lot of weapons around Brady if they want to make a run at him as well. Hell, even the Bucs could potentially put a good team around Brady (with Mike Evans as his leading receiver).

Brady to LAC does make sense for the league
Also per Keim : The Redskins will be active on the Amari Cooper train.

As a Skins fan I want you part of Brady, rather have DH.

Ready to take heat for this, but the idea of Rivers and Chase Young joining the Skins sounds pretty darn good to me. Doubt Rivers comes to DC but very intriguing if this report is credible. |

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
Who said it’s a competition? Maybe the new staff thinks he needs more time to develop and learn. Since win is a 16 year pro who put up 4600 yards last year as a mentor is a bad thing? It not like Rivers would be a long term answer. He’s a 1-2 year stop gap to let our very young and inexperienced QB of the future be prepared to dominate when his turn comes up.

Re: 3/18 @4pm NFL Free Agency & Trading Period
If I'm Rivers I'm looking at an immediate contender as I want a ring. He could view us as contenders in 2-3 years but does that fit his timeline? If the Raiders are sniffing around Brady then they are likely sounding out Rivers too, and he'd likely prefer to stay out west if he could and they seem closer to the playoffs than us.
If he came in as an immediate starter and Haskins didn't go off in a huff etc. but studied behind him and showed he was ready to take over in 2-3 then maybe I can see this, but i just don't. Besides his cap hit will be horrible and we've shown we're building young. |

Rivers is not a good choice for us. Everyone who really don’t know much about this team thinks the Redskins are not sold on Haskins because of his overall record in his rookie year. They haven’t watched his film of his last few games where he really started to EXCEL and show he might be our franchise QB of the future.
The idea of sitting Haskins for a year or two behind a veteran QB is just as terrible as all the people who wanted him to sit out his rookie year OR LONGER. Haskins needs game time experience more than anything. He plays this upcoming year and shows growth and improvement and leadership OR we’re drafting for a QB in the 2021 draft. Sitting a QB is ok if you’re a playoff contender and you’re SURE the young QB is a franchise QB like Mahomes. Haskins needs to prove he’s our guy this season by playing all season and winning games and bringing our offense out of the cellar. Period. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
