Watson is a no brainer, the guy will be great for 10 more years..

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
I think potential QBs will look at us as a real attractive destination this year. A top-flight defense led by a young defensive line and some cap space to work with? Good QBs will look at this as a spot they can drop in and make a difference, sort of similar to the way Brady viewed Tampa last year.
I think Watson would find us an attractive option, the question is will Houston deal him. I'm not sure they're willing.

They are not going to get a QB in the draft with our first round pick. Yes, but other teams have already interviewed Bieniemy during the Chiefs' playoff bye week. I really don't think Houston is serious about hiring him.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Perhaps targeting Kenny Golladay first would be a smart move.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Pound for pound I'd take either (both!) but I'd personally take Robinson 1st. He's already great, but put him with a top QB and I think he'd shine.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Father time has caught him up, though I wonder how much of his struggles last few weeks are a result of the rib injury. Very surprised if he doesn't call it a day now.

Great career and if he hangs it up he'll be missed in the league

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Did you see him look back at the field as he ran off it. It was soooo “one last look”. People can change their minds but his body language after that game said he was done.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Brees was also blowing kisses to fans...seemed like the end.
It's sad he's going out with such a bad game. I think he's still hampered by the 11 broken ribs, he probably could rehab and come back for one more, but I'm not sure his last game would be any better. He got that one Super Bowl and that will be it. I'm glad he got one, I've always been a big fan of him as a person. With the loaded teams and powerful offenses he had, it's amazing he only won one. Still one of the greatest ever.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke
Then there's this. Body language while talking to Brady suggest he was at least talking about a long hard think after the season. Nice to see them together though like buddies, 2 of the best to ever play the position.
