Re: NFL Draft Thread

I see reports that D'Andre Swift may be surplus to requirements in Detroit now that Gibbs has arrived. Any takers?

Re: NFL Draft Thread

I think AR15 was a HUGE Gamble but if he hits the Colts look like the smartest team.. 13 games played and only 17 TDs that's tough

Today it’s all about landing an Oline piece.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

I would like them to draft Avila. But Schmitz, Torrence or Dawan Jones would be good too.

LOVE THAT PICK! @emmanuelforbes7 is LIKE THAT!
Nice endorsement. Heard sone negatives about Gonzalez, great athelete with very high ceiling but not a great football player right now, instincts and play diagnosis are a step slow, so somewhat of a low floor. Would explain why he was passed on by a number of CB needy teams before the Commanders picked

Yup. Mauch and Bergeron too. Torrence would be my pick out of all of them. I think he is gonna be an absolute beast.

There are 3 good OGs (Torrence, Avila and Schmitz) similarly ranked with high 2d round grades. Hopefully one of them will drop. That said if Levis is still there you have to consider him as he has a mid 1st round grade and would be a steal at 47.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

Texans having a boom or bust draft. I thought they gave up too much to move up for Anderson. Stroud looked like the best player in the draft against Georgia, but watching him against Michigan? Idk..

Terrible pick by the Colts. You just can't reach that high for a project QB. Richardson is like a 4th rounder to me. He needed another two years in college.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

Hard to call Levis. Played in a great conference though and he can definitely throw the hell out of it.

Remember Hurts was a 2nd rounder with accuracy issues as well. It’s all about scheme and I think EB could help any young QB

Difference is there were times where Hurts looked great and he did lead a team to a title game. Levis has never looked like a top pick to me.

Levis is being humbled which is probably a good thing for him.

Re: NFL Draft Thread

Can you imagine what the naysayers would have said if the internet was around about Pat Fischer or Darrel Green?

"A 5'8" corner? What is he gonna cover? A fire hydrant?"
