Re: Most Overrated NFL Player?
I refuse to say that LA is overrated at all. We haven't seen him play in GW's system yet (unless you count the few dominating performances early last year). I'm sure a couple of you were pining for the guy a year ago just to be different, or because of his contract situation, but as far as that goes, it never got resolved in his favor, and he didn't miss a sinlge day of practice over it.
I just can't believe the negative hype coming from the fans (not just here, but at bars and in public in general) surrounding a guy who had 2 pro-bowl seasons followed by an injury. Didn't he lead the Pro-Bowl 2yrs ago with 9 tackles? Probably playing out of position. Has nothing to do with the system he was playing in. You'd figure a guy is overrated by the media, the team he's on would embrace the positive press. But not us. We just can't take it. Trotter is a one trick pony, but you can work around that in a MLB. If he can get penetration and stop the run very consistantly he's doing his job. Trotter is amazing at that. He sucked with us for the same reason everyone is on LA's case about overpersuit and freelancing. The guys a winner and he was on a shitty defense. He's gonna buy into GW's system and be a force on the field next year. Ray Charles could see that. |

Re: Most Overrated NFL Player?
Brian Urlacher. The man has amazing physical talent but he fails to dominate and take over games. Not a big fan of the man.
