Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Vinny always went after players who were way past their prime, and Bruce didn't spend any money or picks at all.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Remember the time where we almost traded for Chad Johnson with out 1st round pick, only to see Chad Johnson released (or expired contract next year) by Bengals?

Yeah I don't see them giving up a ton of picks for anyone now, maybe to move up a few spots but thats it

It's March baby. Almost time for free agency and the draft is getting closer. Fuck yeah.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
There you have it! It's only the second year in the team building process which is too soon to go for an expensive trade for a top QB.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Enough of the Watson fantasies. He isn't going anywhere and isn't worth what he would cost if he is. We need to draft a franchise QB. Watson is a HOLE who signed a huge contract and then reneged, plain and simple. I'd NEVER trust him. EVER.

Keep building through draft, including at QB, and only trades should be down for more picks. |

Mac Jones has been the popular Mock as of late and I can't say I hate it

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Given our other alternatives I wouldn’t be against it at 19. However I think I might prefer Darrisaw at 19 and Trask in the 2nd round.

This right here. Although, I would label it as BPA (I would wait on a receiver) in the first round.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I’m not high on taking a first round WR. That’s traditionally, and especially this year, a very deep draft skill position and if you have a blue chip OT or LB available at 19, you have to take him over a WR.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
The more I see and read about Jones, the more I like the pick. I like the idea of getting an all pro level LT (and looking after him this time) but if that QB is there at #19 I'd pull the trigger. A great OL and an average QB can only go so far. A great QB and an average OL is more likely to go further (and be easier to fix).

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I'm a Mac Jones guy but I don't see him over Fields and Lance has big time potential but we also have to remember, 4 of these 6 guys will most likely do nothing in the pros.. History proves that
