"Foreign" Redskins!
Okay folks, I am about to be in a weird situation, and figured some others might be able to relate. I was born and raised in Frederick, MD (diehard skins fan) but have lived in Orlando, FL for 5 years for school. Im getting ready to go out to a party that will no doubt be filled with TONS of Tampa fans:vomit:. Im curious, what other fans are residing out of the tri-state area? 1) Where do you live? 2) Where were you born? 3) Howd you become a skins fan?
Lets build this Redskins Nation!! |

Re: "Foreign" Redskins!
I live in Mount Gilead, NC, due to Hurricane Katrina moved from Kenner, LA. where I lived most of my life in the New Orleans area. Was born in Houston, TX.
when I was like 7 yrs old(I'm 37.5 now) found out I am part Commanche Indian, was watching the Skins play and ever since have been a fan for the past 30 yrs. And NO I have never ever changed, never been an Aints fan either... a true Skins fan through the good times and bad.. |

Re: "Foreign" Redskins!
I have lived in Texas my entire life am 46 years old and have been a skin fan since 1967 when my best friend and I were playing with our football cards on the floor .He said I'm the Cowboys and I said I'm the REDSKINS.It's been over 38 years and I still love the SKINS and always will.JOETHEISMAN is my favorite player,so competitive ,so smart about the game of football, dude would get his bell rung and drive the team for a touchdown anyway .So looking forward to him on Monday nights.Joe has a rep for rambling on but I find him very insightfull.

Hey all, I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico about 50 miles from the Texass border, so there lots of Dallass fans here. I was born, here in Las Cruces. So how did I become a Redskin fan? My Dad grew up in Virgina, so he was a Redskin fan, and he brought up his son right...A Redskin fan.

Re: "Foreign" Redskins!
I spent 5th-12th grade in woodbridge, VA and it got breed into me then. I presently reside in Macon GA where perhaps the only other skins fan in town manages the Sports Fan-atic in the mall, which means I can get stuff

Not as foreign as Latvia, but I think, Germany counts as well.

Re: "Foreign" Redskins!
Born and raised in Birmingham England. Skins fans since the SB loss to the Raiders -one of the first televised in the UK but I was already playing the game over here and latched on to the Skins when they made the playoff run.
Is that foreign enough for you? Funnily enough, this reminds me I've been trying to get hold of a copy of the other Skins SB's for years (Miami games). Anyone know where I can get them on DVD, if at all possible? |
