Re: Extremeskins vs Lenny Pasta

How pathetic is he? Wow. It is amazing how someone could have so much hate. How did he get to where he is with all his power such as voting on HOF? How can anyone respect him?

Lenny is such an ass. At least he admitted that he pretty much hates us. If only he would make such an admission in an article.

Re: Extremeskins vs Lenny Pasta

Now their site isn't working!?
Maybe some In house editing? Glad thewarpath.net exists. Even though those extremeskins probably get some cash, ultimately they are yet an extension of big business. Luckily here we're real die hard fans with perhaps not as much media acknowledgement as extreme, but this board is personal, real and by the 2nd coming of Joe Gibbs and possibly with the help of Jesus we're in round 2 of the playoffs, knocking off #3 seed Tampa Bay with virtually no offense. HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHA!!! Friend of mine has to do 50 push ups on the bar! HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!
GO REDSKINS!!!

Re: Extremeskins vs Lenny Pasta

Surprisingly, Pastabelly's latest piece, a wrap-up of the Tampa game, isn't that bad at all, it's even quasi-complimentary. Although I don't know if it mentions Gibbs at all.

Seems like his big problem is he took what he thought would be an easy shot at Gibbs when he struggled last season, and now is eating his words, so he's irritable. When he can praise the defense without conceding anything positive about Joe, he doesn't seem to mind.

Almost as if he just wants to badmouth Joe in any way he can, including trying to pretend that Williams is the guy who should really be coaching the team... and in a year or so, I suspect we will all find out if that is true or not anyway...

Re: Extremeskins vs Lenny Pasta

It's pretty sad that the guy obviously has some sort of axe to grind against the Redskins. And his demeaning stance towards us as fans is pretty amazing too. The guy wouldn't have a job if it weren't for the fans, in fact the whole damn league wouldn't exist if there were no fans.

The guy is a complete putz and this only proves it.

hey guys, look. any success the Skins may have is solely because of Williams.

Wow. That makes the extremeskins-skins merger worth it!!! Getting a real fan next to Lenny in the press box was a stroke of genius--another excellent move by the FO this year!

Re: Extremeskins vs Lenny Pasta

Ok, maybe this could've been a separate thread, but how about Pasta's latest ESPN article? He has something personal against Gibbs. How many times can you count the word "Gibbs" in this article? Not once! How do you write about a team that just won a playoff game without mentioning the head coach even once?

It is evident in his conversation with the extremeskins fan when Pasta proclaimed "you won't win the super bowl - not with this coach!" Wonder what the guy has against Gibbs. As fas as I'm concerned, Gibbs' biggest contribution to the redskins has been on the hiring (both coaches and players) and team-building front, not in offensive strategy.

That this team is a playoff team (and a very dangerous one) is as much attributable to Gibbs team-building expertise as it is to Greg Williams' stellar defensive schemes. To fail to acknowledge that speaks to Pasta's weakness as a sports writer.
