Offensive Line
Now that Tafkas has explained how, here goes:
What do we do to increase the depth of our O-Line? Are there veterans still available in free agency and do we have the cap space? Or, Are we going to rely on the draft to find a utility player to backup Rabach and the guards. Rabach is like the assistant QB. I believe we need a veteran backing that position up. If we draft a backup, he better have a Wonderlich score higher than 6. I also don't want to be in the position where one injury kills our running game. Logic tells us that none of our current backups were as good last year as Ray Brown or Cory Raymer. (otherwise they would have stepped in for Thomas and for Brown himself) That is unacceptable. All this free agency hoo-ha may mean nothing if we do not find some real sleepers with our meager selection of picks.

Re: Offensive Line
addressed this in 3 or 4 other threads.
We've brought in jeff mitchell (panthers starting C in 2005), we've targetted a OG that started games for the giants last year (WP.com), and a guy like R wells (cards starting LG in 2005) is available as an RFA for a 6th round pick. in the 2nd round we'll have our pick of 2-3 of the top 4 OGs, and 2 of the top 3 centers. |

Re: Offensive Line
we will adress this need in the draft for sure, and probably with a free agent aquisition
