Remember the Redskins?

There's this great NFL Team called the Redskins and they have some great players and the best Coach the NFL has ever seen. They should do quite well this year too.

Discuss.

Re: Remember the Redskins?

One time while they were playing a football got hurt and a young rescue person just happened to be playing for the Redskins. His name is Clinton Portis and he jumped in and resesitated the poor little football.

They went on the play the game and you know what? That little football made it into the Endzone for a Touchdown and went home to live with the young rescue person/player Clinton Portis.

Believe it or not!

Re: Remember the Redskins?

You have to wonder if the Skins will ever have another tandem like Mann and Manley. Hell, it's been awhile since we could say we had even one dominant defensive end.

We got double digit sacks out of Bruce Smiith one year, but I know what you mean.

Right. I forgot about Gramps. A guy named Rich Owens also had 11 sacks for us in '96.

Some say that truly dominant defensive ends are about as hard to come by as franchise quarterbacks. If you're a Redskins fan, you know that all too well.

Re: Remember the Redskins?

I'll always remember Gramps on his cell phone on the sideline while we were still playing and losing.

Respect for him went right out the window.

Wow, what game was that?

I used to work with two Bills fans. When Buffalo released Gramps, they were so pissed.

Aside from maybe one good year, Buffalo knew exactly what they were doing.

Re: Remember the Redskins?

It was the game he got a sack record or tied the sack record. Spurrier was Coach and after he made the sack with a few minutes left in the game they showed him on TV on his cell phone laughing it up.

meh!
