Under Dogs
Well from all the media predictions lately it seems that we have sunken back to the bottom of the barrel once again. As we all know this has to deal with Portis and a winless preseason in which our starting unit failed to score a point. Maybe we need to be projected to be a crappy team. We were supposed to be a bad team last year and we made the playoffs. Maybe its better this way. Thoughts?

Re: Under Dogs
Are we talking about week one or the season? The Skins opened as 4 point favorites.

Re: Under Dogs
The season in general. I've checked most of the predictions from Fox, Peter King, espn, etc...... and they have us with 8-8 or 7-9 or 9-7-and i even seen a 10-6 somewhere but no playoffs. We'll just have to force respect.

Re: Under Dogs
I think he's talking about the season, and I for one think Gibbs, either consciously or not, had some hand in this. We all know he despises the preseason "Super Bowl" talk, and time and time again he mentions the danger of people preparing for you because they remember you from last year. He likes it when other teams underestimate him.
Couple that with Saunders explaining matter-of-factly that to him, preseason games are just practices in game situations, and look the Chiefs career preseason numbers under Saunders offense and I think it becomes pretty clear that the press has once again completely taken the bait. I am not worried in the slightest. Will the first couple of games probably be ugly? Yeah. And we will never get the press love for ugly wins. I for one don't care. The Colts were the prettiest team to get bounced out of the playoffs last year. |

Re: Under Dogs
well 10-6 without the playoffs is stupid in its own....10-6 will most certainly win the division this year.....everyone is just going to beat each other up...plus we have the big boy AFC teams to play (colts) and NFC south.....i wouldnt be surprised if 9-7 won the east...

Re: Under Dogs
the skins had a lot more 10+ win predictions before tanking the preseason (whether intensional or not).
