The Bengals had negotiated a deal with him before June 1, but backed out.
Word is that his back is still in pretty bad shape.

who cares. He's not a Redskin anymore, so I don't the point in worrying about where he will end up.

If he took a huge paycut, then maybe I can see the Redskins picking him up. But then again I don't see Gibbs picking up a guy with a bad rep like his.

The Bengals are smart, they don't want to committ any big dollars to a guy with injury and attitude problems.

And please, don't anyone say we should sign him. The guy is a headache we really don't need. Just because he worked out for one season doesn't cancel out the other seasons he had cut short because of injuries and other assorted problems.

He's the Jeff George of defensive tackles. Someone will take a chance on him because of his potential, but more than likely he will burn whoever signs him.

I agree. and I acutally think Snyder has out grown the 'possible potential' phase where he signed injury prone players.

Hes had what, one year in his career that he put up good decent stats and wasnt injured? I dont want us to get playesr like that anymore. Id rather us sign an undrafted guy, the one JoeCrisp was talking about, and see where his potential can take him.

orginially Matty said 1500 was free agent, and he would have Brunell. I know now that he changed it to impact player, but any chance of making the impact player Portis?!? Or did you put Portis on somethign else? Originally you didnt have Portis on anything, so im obvioulsy going to put my vote in that theres one for Portis instead of Brunell. Expecially since im going to be at this level for a good couple of months I assume. Thanks Admins.

Hey Man.. could be worse! You could get demoted down to blue beanie dude! I mean, with the sheer number of posts you have, you never got to experience the fun of having your very own Special Teams Helmet Identifier!

Admins, I vote for S&C to experience to the Blue Beanie for say, 24 hours. You know he'll just love it.

lol, yea I never had to wear the blue beanie. It was easier having a pick of Taylor to see where my posts were because he was wearing a Red jersey. Im color blind so things like that make it a lot easier for me to read the board, lol.
