Move Taylor To Linebacker
Urlacher used to be a safety. Taylor makes most of the tackles anyway .Might as well get him closer to the line of scrimmage. AA may work out better beside vincent than with taylor.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
So, take one of the few talented Skins, Taylor, and play him out of position? Then, replace him with AA, the most over paid spectator in the history of the league?
While we're at it, why not have Mark Brunell return punts? |

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
I'd try Arch at linebacker honestly. I mean the guy is still an athlete, I think he could play better as a WLB.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
This would probably work better than moving ST. I think ST could make the move but I think at LB he becomes less of a talent relatie to his peers. AT FS he can be a beast once we stop giving him the responsibility of basically being the fall back every where. The guy is responsible for way too much. He is good but he can't cover the whole field at once.

Taylor is a good saftey...why the hell would we move one of our GOOD players on defense, that makes no sense and just creates another hole. Who is going to be our saftey, freaking REED DOUGHTRY!?? At least if we move Arch, were basically playing with house money because I dont ever want to see him play saftey for the skins again. So he's an athlete and it might work out, worst case scenerio were at square one with him on the bench. I'm not saying Taylor couldnt make the switch, I think you could make him a friggin D End and get better production. Him and M. Washington bring it all the time and I freaking love it. I'm just saying, why open ANOTHER hole at a position!?

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
This is just a ridiculous idea. He would be a decent linebacker but he can be a stud safety. Trying AA is possibly a better idea. Not sure though, perhaps he could join the cheerleading squad?

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
I think we should move Derrick Frost to Right Tackle.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
Didn't Gibbs trade the team's 2007 2nd round choice to move up and get Rocky McIntosh as a WLB? Gregg Williams should get off his high horse and give the kid a chance. I'm starting to think that Warrick Holdman has compromising photos of Williams.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
Gibbs and Williams think very similarly about veterans. The average fan can't see that Holdman is struggling while the average fan can plainly see that Brunell was struggling.
I think we'll see more of Rocky soon. He made a good ST play last game.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
I really wonder what's going on with Rocky. Is he really that lost in picking up the defense? GW is typically slow in putting in his rookies but we're now 6 games away from the end of the season and Rocky hasn't gotten a sniff of playing time on D. Something isn't adding up here.

Re: Move Taylor To Linebacker
It's too late this season to make a drastic change but moving to a base 3-4 defense might be the Redskins best option with their current personel. The Redskins are not suited to a 4-3 defense, their defensive ends are not atheletic enough to generate pressure. Since their best skill is occupying blocks, they would be better in a 3-4. The down linemen would be DE Phillip Daniels, DE Renaldo Wynn, DT Cornelius Griffin, OLB Marcus Washington, OLB Andre Carter, MLB Lemar Marshall, MLB Rocky McIntosh, FS Sean Taylor, SS Troy Vincent, CB Shawn Springs and CB Carlos Rogers. Interchange Andre Carter and Adam Archuletta and move him around to support the run and blitz the quarterback.
