Marvin Harrison's a Baby
Colts show they're the best despite actions of Harrison | IndyStar.com
Apparently he was upset that he didn't reach 1,000 career catches and he was virtually non-existent the whole game.. Now i'd understand for him, as good of a player he is, to be upset if it was a close game or they had lost...but wtf they routed the eagles. Talk about being selfish, and then he just stood there after he fumbled the ball. I don't about you guys but i always thought he was the team first/unselfish type of player, I guess i was wrong. He deserves a. |

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
Harrison's lucky that NBC didn't catch that on camera or it would be all over the place, like when Randy Moss left the Vikings Redskins game early.
Harrison's a strange cat though. Never goes into the huddle, never watches game film. Most cases that would be considered somewhat insurbodinate. But you can't deny his talent. Or can you? Would be interesting to see what he'd be like without Peyton.

He's one of those guys who slides and runs out of bounds when there are still yds left on the field. I'm not a fan of his at all.

Good point. I personally think that without Manning, Harrison is just a run-of-the-mill type guy.....

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
harrison is a very good receiver that does run out of bounds and hits the carpet when the safety comes flying. im surprised that this wasnt made into a bigger issue

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
you guys, I don't know much about him, but with out a doubt he is a top 3 WR in this league...
Just do a little research on what his peers say about him, and I'm not talking about WR's, I mean DB's, the guys that cover him. I have heard and read quotes giving him major props... sorrry no links! I can see him being MAJOR A-hole on and off the field though...

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
he'd be good no matter what. peyton helps though. and again, being good and being an a-hole aren't mutually exclusive by any means.

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
There's a vastly more important issue relating to this. His performance on Sunday KILLED me in fantasy football! Do I bench him this week or will that thumb-headed bastard finally throw him the damn ball!!??

Re: Marvin Harrison's a Baby
I have read so many stupid comments about Harrison in this thread it is comical. For once can somebody consider the body of work? This is the first time that I can remember him being involved in anything negative...ANYTHING
When he scores, he hands the ball to the official. He doesn't embarrass his team, he doesn't embarrass himself. He doesn't grill his team in the media and he doesn't complain about his contract. All he does is go out and do his job and toast the top cornerbacks on a regular basis. Jerry Rice said that he was the best receiver in football. Does his opinion count for anything? |
