I heard we were interested in trading for him earlier in the offseason, but now it's doubtful we'll sign him.

I think we're set at TE. And I really don't think Gibbs is interested in bringing any more new players into the mix. Anybody new at this point will really be behind since so much of the offense has already been installed.

I think we're set for TE. Ricks is a good player, but definitely a luxury at this point.

I think Gibbs probably feels that his one position that isn't completely set on offense is TE so he's bringing in a lot of players and hoping the competition will bring out some quality players. We've got like 50 TE already.

I think that if we sign Ricks, he would most certainly be compretition at the H-Back, since he isnt much of a blocker, and has above average speed for a TE.

he plays for detroit right? I 2 think we have enough depth at TE and I'd like to start keeping some of our 3-7 picks to find young and cheap developmental talent.

That rumor has been out for a while. I doubt we're still interested. Usually the Skins are quick at signing players they want/need.

I think he's a better pass catcher thas the TE we have, I just hope we don't overpay for him, if we get him.

yeah thats what i meant. I wasn't aware he was a free agent. it came off to me like the discussion was about trading for him.

I think he's more for the tightend spot while cooley will be h-back. two seperate positions. Ricks pass catcher Rasby the blocker
