Playoff predictions

Even though the Skins are sitting home I'm still excited for the start of the playoffs. Here's my picks

Larry Johnson pounds the Colts and the Chiefs pull the upset.

Chiefs 21
Colts 17

The Jets have had a nice run but the teacher gets the best of the pupil this weekend.

Patriots 24
Jets 16

Seattle is a very tough road trip, I have a gut feeling that Seattle could be really dangerous this postseason.

Seattle 28
Dallas 20

Eagles are red hot, the Giants are still a mess and they'll crack under the playoff pressure. Bye-bye Coughlin.

Eagles 30
Giants 17

Re: Playoff predictions

Agree with you on all but the Colts and Cowboys -- both teams have taken a lot of hits on defense, they're probably sick of hearing about it, and for one game at least, both Indy and Dallas's D will rise to the occasion. I just can't see Indy losing two straight home playoff games. Should be a high scoring game, and if the Colts can stop the Chiefs for just a series or two, K.C. just doesn't have the guns to keep up.

Parcells is due for a playoff win, Seattle really isn't that good, and I just feel like he's going to whip his team into shape tomorrow. That front seven of the Cowboys makes me very envious, and I don't think they suddenly forgot how to play -- it seems to be a mental breakdown more than anything else.

I don't think the 'boys will go much further though.

I agree with all those, but something tells me the Jets pull the upset.

Seattle's secondary is pretty beat up, I think the Cowgirls are gonna win that one. I also think the Jets are gonna pull an upset special.

Re: Playoff predictions

Seattle, New England, Indianapolis, Philadelphia... all the homes teams.

In the NFL, in my mind, the Eagles or Saints are coming out of there. I just think those are the only two teams that I cant find a GLARING hole in, they seem the most completle to me.

Re: Playoff predictions

This week I will be a big Seahawks fan!! Hopefully they'll put the Cowboys out of their misery!! If they do I bet Jerry Jones will get another face lift just to help his self-esteem.

So I say Seahawks, Eagles, Patriots, and Colts

I just want San Diego to win it all! I think Marty deserves it and he has the best team that he has ever coached in getting him there!

Re: Playoff predictions

Indy over KC 24-14....Indy takes a lead early, throwing KC off their gameplan slightly.

Patriots over Jets, 37-13. People suggesting that this one will be close, take note, it won't be.

Seattle over Dallas, 17-14. I am tempted to not watch this one.

NY over the Eagles 28-24. No rational reason for picking this other than my gut tells me so, and I have to pick at least one road team.

Re: Playoff predictions

My picks...

KC over the Colts ...run D will let Indy down.

Boys over Hawks....Seattle isn't playing well (worse than Dallas)

Eaglets over my Guys ...my hart says NY but we're not playing good D and were missing to many people. If it's a blowout TC is gone (good).

Jets over Pats ....it's time.

Re: Playoff predictions

My picks:

Indy over KC in a major blowout. Johnson gets hurt early thanks to carrying the rock so much in the regular season. Green has trouble throwing: 31 - 14

Seattle over Dallas, close game. Romo screws it up for them in the 4th, TO sulks in the 2nd half: 24 -21

Giants over Philly, Philly finally loses. Eli mistakenly plays good. Tiki plays possessed. Plax and Shock forget to complain: 17 - 7

Jets over New England, common sense tells me NE but I really want the Jets to win one playoff game. Luxurious Coles is double teamed but still makes 2 TD grabs. High scoring game: 38 - 35
