Nats to HOFer: F' Off Old Man
SportingNews.com - MLB - Robinson not offered job by Nationals
The Nats have decided to part ways with Frank Robinson after telling him there was the possibility of a Front Office job almost 3 months ago. Pretty damn disrespectful to let him wait that long to tell him to bugger off. It doesn't bother me that they aren't keeping him, or didn't find a position for him. What bothers me is that this guy left a cushy job in New York as MLB Director of Discipline to manage a sinking ship called the Montreal Expos after they were sold to MLB. Did well considering that MLB hogtied him to virtually no money to get key players, and finally the Nats get an owner, and they dump him on his ass by stringing him along with an empty promise.
