Skins stuck at No. 6?
From ESPN Insider
Skins stuck at No. 6? <Apr. 11> At the moment, the Redskins are pessimistic about their chances of trading out of the No. 6 spot, according to John Clayton. The Lance Briggs trade is pretty well dead from the Redskins' standpoint. Talks of moving up and moving down have been difficult. The Redskins may have to pick, which could put them in a position to take safety LaRon Landry of LSU. The Redskins don't appear to be thrilled with Clemson defensive end Gaines Adams as the sixth pick even though they have a need for a pass-rushing defensive end.

Re: Skins stuck at No. 6?
The redskins are playing this pick like a fiddle.
I think that depending on who falls to them dictates what they do. I know,, cliché.. but if say Quinn falls... they'll stand up on the table and act like a carnival barker... step right up! I think the Redskins have made a lot of effort to mask what they really want to do. ~Bang

Re: Skins stuck at No. 6?
My bad, don't get all TB Mod IV on me now. My signature is within forum regulations.
Anyway I still say that this all part of a smoke screen that the Redskins are putting up, similar to what the Patriots have done in recent years. The main difference being that the Patriots let nothing get out, The Redskins on the other hand are letting a little bit of everything get out. All in all its nice not knowing exactly what the Skins are going to do this April (a la Jason Campbell in 2005).

Lamar isn't good enough for you? Is it because the 'm' isn't capitalized or because of it's 'le' not 'la'?

Re: Skins stuck at No. 6?
so now we must be puttin the bait out for whoever wants landry. I didn't think he would be that in demand, but he sure is generating a lot of ink.

Re: Skins stuck at No. 6?
You guys don't know shit about football. We need a d-lineman so bad it hurts. Taking any other position with the 6th pick would be dumb.
