Dave or Jay - Conan or Craig
Anyone here stay up late and watch Dave Letterman, Jay Leno and Conan O' Brien or Craig Ferguson?

I like Jay and Conan, but when I watch, it is just the first part of the show. Once the guests start coming on, I stop watching.
My personal favorites are the funny news articles on the Leno show, and I really miss when Conan would go driving his desk through the city. The show was really funny before Conan went to NBC and they had that guy Andy.

Give me Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. They should create a 24 hour talk show channel, with classic reurns from Arsenio, Merv Griffin, Dick Cavett, Tonight Show with Jack Paar, Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Of course, the biggest issue there is that JC's estate owns all his Tonight Show airings and refuse to release them, except for DVD sales.
By the way, did you see that Jimmy Fallon signed a deal with NBC to possibly be Conan's successor in 2009? That would suck

Definately Jay and Conan.
Conan's the best out of all of the lare-night hosts. Ghetto Dog is right though, the shows are the best before the Hollywood airheads come on. Conan's skits are awesome. |

If NBC pays Fallon to do absolutely nothing, I'll start watching their shows. He's a talentless hack, who ruins everything he touches.
Also, I'm told he tips poorly.

Jay is the man. Letterman is OK. and the other 2 suck. and i cant stand Jimmy Fallon. i would love to see more of Jon Stewart

I liked Craig Kilborn. I agree with Tom Shales of the WaPo (I think we must be the only two) that Jon Stewart is a worthless hack. Mugging for the camera and generally playing monkey boy to a studio audience that will aparrently laugh at anything. That show was actually doing some interesting things before he turned into upper west side Bolshevik summer camp. I can't wait for Bush to leave office, because Stewart will then leave the show (and return to relative obscurity from wince he came) or it will collapse very quickly when it becomes obvious that he has nothing to offer beyond Bush jokes.
Memo to Jon Stewart: Keep Your 'Daily' Job
