Re: Thrash Injury
Did anyone else yell out loud, "Fuck! Why not?" when Thrash went down.
I think we are a good team...BUT, we are a good team when we have more than fifty percent of our starters playing the game. I mean good Lord, is there any other team in the league that loses key players worse than us?! I get so fucking sick and tired of this week to week. I firmly believe we win today if Sean Taylor stays in the game. It's week after fucking week, yet ANOTHER key player goes down.

Re: Thrash Injury
He limped to the sidelines and then was put on the cart and taken off.
My initial guess would be done. Too bad, he displayed a great repoire (sp?) with JC today. Oh well, we still lost another game that was dominated by us. |

Re: Thrash Injury
Malcolm, I too was yelling something like that. He's having one of his best career days, really showing how the offense should look, clicking with JC--and he's down on the ground in pain. And then seeing ST going to the tunnel, I was like, ok, I get it. Not even going to bother getting angry at this point...

Re: Thrash Injury
High-ankle could end his season, unfortunately. That can really linger.

Re: Thrash Injury
All of this is just more evidence that 2007 is just not meant to be for the Redskins.
How many of us actually thought it would be? |

Re: Thrash Injury
Malcom asked if any other team was so beset by injuries.
Try the Indy Colts. They only suited up 17 offensive players last night AND only suited up 45 players in toto because that's all the healthy bodies they had. THEN they lost both OTs during the game and had to shuffle their OL in the middle of it all. Marvin Harrison AND Dwight Clark did not suit up. One of their go to receivers last night was Craphonso Thorpe - - that's not Jim Thorpe by the way. Somehow, I think those losses to injury are equivalent to losing James Thrash in the final quarter of a game. And no, I'm not down on James Thrash at all. He is a good player who hustles on every play (offense and special teams) and is one of those guys who "leads by example". But don't equate his loss to what the Colts went through on the same weekend.

Whoaaa..if that's the case, then maybe Clint Diddier can still suit up for us?
