Texans' Schaub Out for a Month

At least.

FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Sources: Schaub has torn MCL, out at least a month

Could this be the return of Sage Rosenfels? Or the end of his effectiveness?

What will my fantasy team do without -3 points per week?

Re: Texans' Schaub Out for a Month

Lots of horrible officiating in that game, including two low hits on Schaub by Jared Allen that should have been called roughing.

Schaub to Rosenfels is a downgrade of sorts, but their short term prospectus remains the same: if their defense improves, they'll be in the wild card discussion at the end of the year. If it doesn't, the offense turns the ball over too much to beat good teams.

I don't understand how you struggle with Andre Johnson as your go-to-guy. I don't know much about Houston, is their line crappy or something?

Re: Texans' Schaub Out for a Month

Meh, their defense was bad last year as well. It's just their secondary, and the fact that the LBs can't cover anyone. They can't afford to ever go with more than 7 in the box, so the run gashes them, and they still can't matchup with anyone down the field. Doesn't mean they don't have playmakers (M. Williams is having another monster year), but the unit is and has been garbage. They just got Dunta Robinson back, so it might get better.
