In all honesty I've been thinking about this question/thread since we saw our cap space tighten up a bit. I suppose there could be other reasons for cutting a player as well so all things considered, if you got to choose one player to erase from the roster who would he be?

That's actually a pretty good call. He's a less talented version of Portis and doesn't bring any different dimension to our offense. I'd much prefer our 2nd RB to be more of a change of pace style runner. Betts is definitely expendable.

I agree to a point with you. I don't really hate him as a player but it seems to me every time he get the ball in a tough situation he fumbles.

Note that I said over the past 2 years. He's been averaging about 3 and a half yards since his break-out season.

Right now, it just feels like a severe drop-off when he's on the field. I stand by my statement.

I guess it would have to be a player whose cap hit would be less than what we would pay him in 2009. I mean if you're mentioning the cap, I guess it would have to meet this criteria.
