Who Is Our 2009 Offensive MVP?
There are not many names to make a case for the award. It is rare when a team goes through an entire season and you can't think of a single player that stands out enough to be deserving of the award.
Under the circumstances (because they have been so unplesant) I'm going to give a vote to Jason Campbell maybe more so for his courage than his play. My second vote would have to go to Fred Davis. He was inserted into the starting lineup later in the season as a result of injury but his play has been worthy of note and his numbers impressive. Mods: You can incooperate more names someone may feel worthy and make this a poll....What do you think, and who do you feel worthy. |

I like your choices.
For me, I have to go Cooley, even though he's been hurt. For some time we had no offense aside from Cooley.

Tempted to say Hunter Smith or, more seriously, Sherm Lewis

Offensive MVP-Entire O-Line
They provided all pro protection to JC all season long. Defensive MVP-Laron Landry All pro safety who is a true safety, doesnt get burned deep and never lets anyone behind him. Never misses a tackle. Special Teams-Randel El Rarley fair catches the ball and has provided good field position for the offense. He rarely runs east to west, most of the time he is getting positive yards. LOL |

I went with Fred Davis. Can we add an option to "None of the above bums." If so, change my vote to that.

Re: Who Is Our 2009 Offensive MVP?
It's interesting that at the beginning of the season the DC Sports Reporters picked Cooley as OMVP and Haynesworth as DMVP. When it comes to the defense there could be more clear-cut choices. Our offense has been so bad it makes it difficult.

JC for not giving up while getting crushed physically, emotionally, and mentally. And seemingly improving during the process.

Re: Who Is Our 2009 Offensive MVP?
They really don't have one but if i have to pick i say Fred Davis...he is the only player on the offense that you could actually say has been a stud even if its only been for half a season.
