Gibbs Pressconferece

"I felt like in the second half he had a courageous performance..... he hung in there on the blitz with Clinton, I think he's a courageous guy and I think we need to get everything else on offense working together. I think he can make plays to help us win. (Question: What about the fans Chanting for Ramsey) I think our fans, our fans our going to do what they have to do, I understand frustration somtimes, thats part of what we have to deal with." ....

How Close is your offense??" Ya know, I mean Close is when you really start operating, making things happen. I felt like today we scored 3 touchdowns against a real good team. ( THREE??). I think its just a mtter of us fighting our way through this."

About not running a whole lot - "They are gonna load up on you and make you throw the ball Then we got behind, which compounds the game some. I think both of those things kept us from running."

Green Bay is a pretty dominant defense. Their secondary has really intimidated some teams this year.

I'd rather have Gibbs with a paraplegic monkey than Spurrier and anything.

Geez!!!! As much as I hate to admit it, the only way we could see Ramsey at QB would be if Brunell gets hurt. That would be a shame to make Patrick sit the bench, especially since Brunell has already proven that he no longer has the physical ability to QB in the NFL anymore. Many of his completions today were the result of incredible athleticism on the part of the receivers, not Brunell. His accuracy was spotty and at times horrendous. I can't stand watching the skins offense this year. Thank God Greg Williams has put together such an incredible defense, otherwise we'd never even be in any of these games!

I like the idea that Gibbs will stick with his QBs that is the way he's always been. Watching the Joe Gibbs' show earlier today, something gives me the impression that for the most part, this season to Gibbs is basically a rebuilding season anyway and thoughts of anything beyond that is wild imagination.

How about Spurrier and Brunell playing for Dallas? I could enjoy the Dallas games knowing there were on the OTHER side of the ball

nah man gibbs hasnt shown me anything. while i understand that he needs time to adjust to today's nfl... i still don't get how things that were nonexistent during his earlier stint (penalties, poor clock mgmt.) are around. i mean u'd think he'd still have that part down... just make sure that u know the only reason we aren't winless and keep on staying in games is bc of gregg williams. i like spurrier btw.

Mark still has all the tools to be an excellent QB in this league...much better than Stink Ramsey

You may like Spurrier, but there would not be a Gregg Williams,Greg Blache or Clinton Portis if Spurrier were still here. That would make our defense, oh let see about 25th in the league.
