Redskins vs. Eagles Week Four
I think it is safe to say after the McNabb trade pretty much everyone had todays date circled on their calender. I literally had to beg my sister to move my niece's christening to another weekend for this game!
I really want a win today! Don't know how they will do it but I need it!

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Week Four
Philly isn't that great.. Their hot right now but only bcuz of Vick. If we can get a pass rush on them like GB we could have a legit shot.
On offense we have to score in the redzone, NO FGs! I think 5 has a great game today and we go 2-0 in the east... If not, I will admit this team is done.. Httr

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Week Four
Eagles win this EASY!!!! It doesnt matter how good or bad our D plays, McNabb will not be able to execute without a balanced running game. I don't like Portis against the Eagles D. or any D for that matter.
Vick is legit, and has many weapons at his disposal. He will have a field day today. Yup, Im still a Redskins fan but just more realistic these days. Eagles 42 Redskins 17 |

He's had two good games , history shows with this guy how poor of a passer he is. Great athlete but not a "Legit" passer. I'm not saying we win this game bcuz of Vick, I just don't think Philly has that great of a D. Green Bay and Detroit both shredded them on Defense.

Re: Redskins vs. Eagles Week Four
I know we've got our issues, but don't buy the Vick/Eagles hype just yet.
As many "sit-downs" he does with the talking heads, I ain't buyin' this Vick "I'm a pocket passer" thing. Vick went against the Packers (no gameplan for him), the Lions (26th ranked scroing D) and Jags (29th ranked scoring D). His completion % in the last couple of games is 58.4%, not bad for him but not Brees/Manning-like. Granted it's still too early in the season to get a good read on team stats yet, but the Jags/Lions Ds aren't very good. Our 2-4-5 and 1-5-5 have good speed on the outside to help contain Vick without CB blitzes. I'm also not sold on Philly's run game, I see a couple big runs, but nothing consistent. We ease up on the blitzes, contain Vick and let's see if this "pocket passer" crap is for real.....I'm banking it ain't. On D, the Iggles gave up 32 to the Lions and shut down a completely inept Jags O. They ranked 20th in scoring D after those two and the Packers. They should be top 10 if they were really any good. McNabb knows their D after seeing it for 11 years. On offense we must establish the run early. See how the ZB scheme goes early, then get off it to a more power scheme if we don't get anything going. We've got to be more creative in formations/sets. 20+ of the 2TE-I ain't cuttin' it Kyle. Lets see some bunch, some Cooley/Davis flexed out with outside runs, use our TEs to create mismatches on the edges. Cooley/Davis aren't bangers, but they are quick and good in space. They also will create headaches for LBs trying to cover them in space. IF (big if) we can establish the run early, we should control this game. I think our D holds them under 21. Skins in the upset 27-20.

For me it's much better at 4. Less hassles from the wife plus (soon to be) 5 kids.
