Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6
The Eagles have been the worst team in the NFC this year. This is encouraging because this is what you are supposed to do to a team like that when they walk into your house. You are supposed to knock them out.
Good job, Redskins.

First time we beat a rookie qb since 2005, but hey its a blowout. Nice to see some better safety play.

Convincingly won a game we should have convincingly won -- good to see Meriwether play today and the defense play really well today. H/e, Nick Foles is not a starting QB so making him look bad is not much of an accomplishment. That being said, RG3 -- what an absolute monster: 8 tds through 9 games, 4 tds in a division game..beautiful.

I enjoyed the hell out of it. The Iggles suck but that doesn't usually matter. We beat their ass and I loved it! What can you say about RG3? He has improvements to make and he still plays like this? Absolutely amazing performance.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6
Haslett actually looked like he had a plan today. Defense played well and they should have played well against a piss poor online and rookie qb making his first start. Our offense is still a work in progress. I get the feeling Kyle does not trust RG3 in obvious passing downs. And on those downs RG3 is not comfortable. Actually I thought Kyle had a terrible day calling plays. Good win against a very bad team.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6
Great coaching and play on the defensive side. Really cant say enough about Josh Wilson, Riley, Kerrigan, Merriweather, and Coefield. Those guys dominated.
RG3 played incredible today. Better lucky than good on a couple plays, but we will take it. Kyle didnt help RG3 at all and the Oline had alot of trouble today. Thank god for RG3, because if that was the Kyle/Rex combo last year with this game plan today, it woulda been a loss.

Well winning this game is like Valentine day. If you take your Misses out properly you don't get credit because its expected of you. But if you had blown it there would've been hell to pay.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6
I had no clue that Eagles' defense was that bad until today. No clue. Andy didnt help himself with the neglect of the Oline/Oline depth.
Jason Peters is the equivalent of the Orakpo loss for us. He is vital to the success of that offense.

Re: Skins 31 Eagles 6
Eagles defense isn't that bad. Our offense wasn't as clicking as people think. The numbers can be misleading i'm sure.
Defense played 100% better with BW out there, and I hope he can play Thursday. This offense is schemed to help RG3 be successful, and it shows just how important Shanahan has been in developing RG3. A lot of just straight drop back plays were missed and not thrown by RG3 today, and I think his ability to move the pocket helps him and we need to keep doing it. RG3 and Kerrigan get my game balls. Kerrigan had a sack, FF, and FR.
