All well and good but as long as DS is the owner nothing will change. Bill Bellichek would have zero success as the Skins head coach because DS wouldn't let him run the team how he wants. More shuffling the pieces around by a clueless organization.

While I think Jay is a good guy and he got screwed by the front office time and time again...it’s time he goes. Playing colt McCoy in meaningless games is a detriment to the team. Kevin O’Connell taking over the offense and developing Haskins is more important to the future of the franchise.
Of course Bruce leaving next is most important development that could happen.

This is unfortunately the cold hard truth. There is a 90% chance the next HC and staff will be no better than the last. It is a pattern. That being said it is also that time where we have the small glimmer of hope that somehow the next guy is so good that Dan and Bruce step waaaaaaay back and he wins. Part of me, although Jay would never do it, hopes that he goes on a media tour exposing how terrible Dan and Bruce are to work for. It has to become thee story in Washington. Not that it would change anything because Dan doesn’t give a crap. But it would make me giddy to hear nothing except how terrible the guy is. |
