Philly Lost!
On a different subject besides our qb controversy, Philly lost to Atlanta 14-10 last night. so far the Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys are 1-0 in the NFC East. that's a pretty good reversal of roles for us. Anyone feel like this is the year the Eagles are going down?

Re: Philly Lost!
trotter may have made the difference that game... and mcnabb did get hurt. I'm not ready to declare them horrible yet
but it is nice to be a game above them right now. |

Re: Philly Lost!
When did McNabb get hurt? I turned the game off at about the 9 minute mark in the 4th (work comes early in the morning...) and from what I saw, McNabb was playing pretty bad last night.

Re: Philly Lost!
Not only that, I like watching the body language between him and TO. They don't even look each other in the eye.
They are still the most talented team in the NFC East, but lets hope that the dysfunction caused by TO vs. McNabb, the loss of Simon and Douglas (which has some of the Eagles players upset), and Westbrook's irritation with his contract situation, result in the Eagles not playing up to their talent. |

Re: Philly Lost!
At the beginning of the game, when they were getting ready to "fight," what was the jumping up and down? I thought they were going to start fight-dancing, ala Michael Jackson's "Bad" video. No punches, just bouncing. Fabulous.

And last year we were in the exact same spot at this point as we are this year. So I will say, "Wahoo!" and enjoy it while I can, but I know it is a long season ahead. It's a marathon, not a sprint. If we can beat Dallas on their own turf, that would be just Prime. I would be happy for the month. But yeah, I was cheering for DeAngelo Hall at the end of that game. I am very pleased to see the Eagles lose. A couple years ago (Shottenheimer year) I went to the Redskins game when they played the Eagles and there were so many Philly fans there, you would have thought they all lived in DC. Alot of them were taunting Redskins fans before the game and I almost got in a brawl with some of them because one of them threw some kind of drink on me when I was walking bye. (Keep in mind I was wearing a Redskins jersey. Darrell Green for those wondering.) I have never been around such obnoxious fans. At least the Dallas fans aren't that obnoxious and rude. For all you fans that have tickets, I say just like the crowd against the bears, it's time to take our stadium back!!!!! |

Re: Philly Lost!
It was only one game, don't get used to Philly losing. Besides give ATL some credit, they are a good team you know? They were one game away from the Super Bowl, so it's not like Philly lost to some push overs.

Re: Philly Lost!
The break dance fighting is a long lost art.
I think Trotter would be especially good at it. I heard that after they were both ejected, Trotter and Mathis continued to break dance fight in the locker room. The "fight" evolved into a full blown ballroom dance competition by half-time and I heard by the end of the game, Trotter and Mathis were copulating with one another. That's just what I heard. |

Re: Philly Lost!
All I know is they grounded Philly's running game. The formula to beat them was shown to the league last night.
