Portis' Flashy Shoes
Did anyone else notice the burgundy reflective foil on the bottom of Portis' shoes? It was awesome; when it was flashing in the dome lights I initially thought he was wearing a pair of LA Lights! You could really see it clearly on one of the replays when he dove forward and the camera was right behind him. I wonder if you can get fined for whats on the bottom of your shoes? Either way it was pretty cool...

Re: Portis' Flashy Shoes
yeah they looked like real lights, I am pretty sure it was just shinny stuff but it made me happy that he tries to get away with some uniform infraction each game

I was wondering about that - hopefully he found a loophole!

He always wears cleats like that but usually the bottoms are gold.

Re: Portis' Flashy Shoes
Sorry, I didn't DVR the game yesterday so I don't have a pic. They obviously weren't Snyder-issued, though.

Re: Portis' Flashy Shoes
Yea I saw em they were pretty cool looking. It reminds me of Micael VIck's personally made Nike's. They are silver reflective and he says they are like that so the opposition can see their reflection as he runs away from them. Maybe CP has the same kinda idea?. Who knows. I dig em tho. As long as he breaks 47 yarders he can keep wearin' em.

Re: Portis' Flashy Shoes
I think you mean:
"As long as he breaks 47 yards and doesn't get fined or suspended by the league, he can keep wearin' em." |

Re: Portis' Flashy Shoes
I honestly dont think that the bottom of ones shoes can violate the dress code. Vick wears em all the time.
