Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
Phillip Thomas is overrated man, I really wanted Swearinger but I think Rambo, Duke Williams are better than Thomas hes overrated. I like Shamarko Thomas too he is just really short though.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
WAY overrated; I'll be very dissapointed if we pick him in the 4th. Rambo or Williams are better players and better fits for us IMO.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
I have watched his film and I'm not impressed. Is he the worst FS? No but he is a mediocre tackler and played in a pretty weak conference. If Thomas is that "incredible" why is he still available after 99 picks?

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
Whoever gets Phillip Thomas is one lucky team. With him and Amerson, our secondary would go from one of the worst to the best. Not hating on Rambo, Williams, or Shamarko, but I definitely want Thomas.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
I definitely concur. Phillip Thomas is not overrated. He can cover, blitz, create turnovers, and play either safety position. I'd be happy with Duke Williams or J.J. Wilcox too.

Yeah i didnt get to watch. I was surprised too but hell with davis's injury/issues - and who else - obviously cooley doesnt have it and paulsen is just a stop gap - so what the hell if this guy can be a safety valve for Griff than thats great. I want ray ray armstrong tomorrow. Dude was a beast at miami and is completely flying under the radar.

Phillip Thomas is stiff in coverage. He looks like Chris Horton to me.

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
How is Phillip Thomas overrated if he was never mentioned with the elites in the draft?

Re: Draft talk rounds 2-3
I've been trying hard to like his game tapes, scouting reports, highlights and I just can't. That said, I can agree we should draft a FS in the 4th
