Of course he's a diva and he wants to play, but this is getting a bit tired with him and the media. How bout RG3 keep quiet and just keep working at this point. We get it.

I agree. RGIII should just say to the media, "We're following the recovery plan," and nothing more. I love his fire but in this case it need not be announced to the world. His "Coach says ___ but I say ____" schtick is the wrong approach.

I agree. To me, it still shows he hasn't learned shit about last year and he's still trying to prove to the world how tough he is. I respect the competitiveness in him, and I'd be the same way if I were him. However, he doesn't need to be discussing jack shit with the media in regards to his displeasure with the plan or anything related. Just tell them you feel great, you are looking forward to being out there, but consult Coach Shanahan if you want specifics about any timeline.


Look at Peyton Manning's situation his last year in Indy. There were reports that he was begging the coaching staff to play him in goal line situations (that didn't require the arm strength), but yet you never heard him bitching to the media about not liking the plan they had him on.

Just shut up Robert, and play football. You blew your opportunity to have any say in when you come back. In fact, he's largely responsible for him having the ACL injury to begin with.

That said, the media is most certainly blowing this up to be something it is not.

Its going to be a story regardless. When he didnt say anything, the media was saying that he was lazy and didnt want to take part in TC. When he is saying something, its just a new spin on negativity. When he wasnt out talking the media shortly after his surgery, everyone complained of no news. Now that there is news, everyone is complaining that there is to much of it.

If he talks to the media, its because there is a rift between Shanny and RG3. If he doesnt talk to the media, its because there is a rift between Shanny and RG3. If he talks in a limited fashion to the media, its because there is a rift between Shanny and RG3. If he says to ask Shanny, its because there is a rift between Shanny and RG3. If he speaks for himself, its because there is a rift between Shanny and RG3.

Im glad that he wants to play and im glad that Shanny is holding him back. The rest of the stuff is just noise. Learn to block out the random noise and there are no problems.

I'll say this about RG3, he reminds me of Theismann a little bit. He's got some Hollywood in him, loves the limelight, he's a diva, pretty selfish...but he might be the toughest guy on the team and you have to break his leg off to get him out of the game. I want that in my QB. I'd much rather have a guy like that, than a guy like Jay Cutler.

there are a few instances...

1. The playoff game against Seattle, going back into the game when he knew he was hurting the team. He thinks he's better on one leg than a healthy Cousins. LOL. Sorry, that entire Seattle deal is on you RG3, not the coach. Yet he says..."we all made mistakes"

2. Your dad keeps running his mouth and he says..."well I can't control what daddy says"...really bro? So you and your dad gotta run your mouths to the media? I think he wants his dad to keep speaking.

3. "Well coach gave me his word if I do everything he'll start me week one, so as long he he does that we're good" ...I doubt MS said that and to me that's showing up your coach.

Again, I think he should be out there, but MS is the boss. So just go by that plan and stop running your mouth. As I said, if he plays like shit week one, and is outplayed by Michael Vick, I know what's coming...." I needed more reps in pre season".

Cautious is the practical approach. Shanny is being cautious. Bob doesn't like cautious. He's young and wants to conquer the world. I am fine with the everything. Barring a setback he'll play week one and Shanny will have lived up to his part of the deal. That is all that matters.
