To me, it's the play calling. There was no excuse to get away from the run game. None.

Kyle gets too clever by a half.

i really hope he didnt fk up that other knee with any kind of significance. its b/s its always some fat defensive tackle that has to drop theyre weight on him like that. knightons a punk. we need another wr, oline, safety in the offseason.

and for those who have been doubting dhall, especially in the offseason.. well..
dude hasnt had help over the top his whole tenure here. still holds it down. only person he cant cover is djax.

Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

Kyle needs to head to the unemployment line. His playcalling is atrocious, and RG3 needs to learn to go through his progressions, even if its only one OTHER receiver. This lock on and stare down your WR shit has to stop. Either he does that, throws into double coverage on a prayer deep ball, or holds the ball too long, and then either fumbles it or makes stupid decisions. The kid just isn't the all world QB EVERYONE thought he was. He is still better than average, but he has a TON of learning to do. And he is only going to get slower with age. Needs to get an OLine, get his mechanics down, and start studying defenses, going through his progressions. I know its hard to do with this line that Mike Shanahan has assembled, but hopefully the next coach can salvage some of the talent, and possibly shore up the guard spots and our safeties.

PS - Polumbus did not get pushed around half as much as other weeks today. It looked like he was solid today, as solid as you can be with RG3 holding the ball 8 seconds every dropback. I'd say at least 75% of the hits he takes are on himself holding the rock too long. Doesn't bode well for his future, thats for sure.

Didn't we have another QB who used to lock onto 1 receiver? I don't remember who that was. Cousins wasn't any better. I didn't really see his head on a swivel either.

Cousins was at least stepping up and hitting his receivers. Neither of those INT's were on him. The Reed one was obvious, but the Garcon INT, well, Garcon turned and waited for the ball to get to him for a full second instead of turning and going to get the ball. Cousins did well with what he had to work with. I don't think it hurt his stock at all with the way he played today.

Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

hes staring at covered wrs all game.

that playcalling in the 2nd half was hurrendous. getting away from the run lost us that game. i understand come out and take a shot but we have speed recievers and one possession guy who doesnt catch the ball i dont want morgan anymore i never liked that signing. drc, bailey, chris harris are all fast dbs rg saw nothing, missed the check down a few times but he was running for his life as the game wore on an the oline started giving in. half the time he was just trying to extend the play for his wrs.

Re: Skins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

the most valuable position in football is left to Kyle's wrecklessness?

Shit if we aren't going to be throwing the ball, then why aren't we signing track and field athletes to run the ball, oh wait.....

If you woke up this morning thinking this team was going to roll into to DEN and win you were kidding yourself.
